The cultural center is a learning hub for budding artists and these sessions have been going on for more than 15 years on Figure Drawing. The classes take place every Saturday for a duration of 3 hours. The classes are affordable and come at a handy price of $8 per person and  the best part is that they are moderated by an experienced facilitator.

This Center has a Figure and Life Drawing Session every Friday. It is for beginning to advanced students who want to review this art. Every session begins with several 1 to 3 minutes gesture poses followed by a break to view work and stretch. Then there are several poses and gestures for 5, 10 and 20-minute intervals. The teacher is available to guide on request. The classes for people aged 18+ years. The price for each class session is $12 with a special offer of $8 for seniors (aged more than 55 years).

Dr Sketchy’s has a lot of outlets all over the country. The SF Chapter hosts multiple events for Figure and Life drawing. These classes are generally for students aged 18+ years. The fees to be paid is $12 in advance and $17 on the day of the show. These prices are of the latest show and would change according to the venue and event.

The Madrone Art Bar hosts Live Model Sketch Parties more than often. It is a 2 hours long event generally. The fees are around $10. There is generally live music and drinks available at the bar too.  

This is a group of artists that host a weekly figure drawing session every Wednesday Evening. These classes are for all levels of artists. The place has a low-key relaxed kind of atmosphere. A comparatively more comprehensive course to get a deeper understanding about the key elements of Fine Arts. There are courses available at three venues i.e San Jose, Mountain View and San Francisco. The course has a fees of $300 + $27 (demo) for a single person attending the class. You can get a special offer for a couple entry at $560. The course has 12 classes. There is also an additional one-time model fee of $5 to $10.

This School has a specific course of Figure drawing and painting in a variety of mediums such as charcoal, oil pastel, chalk pastel, oil paint, and more. These are recurring sessions that happen every Wednesday. The fees is $15 per session, payable at the door. You can just drop-in to attend this class. A model is provided for a long pose as well.

23rd Street Studio is one of the largest and oldest private figure drawing studios in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Studio offers both figure drawing classes with instruction and non-instructional drawing groups with live models. They work on the system of terms with each term being 22 weeks long. There are also multiple drop-in sessions available at the Studio.

This is a public art studio with multiple workshops available for all ages and levels of artists. The Adult Figure Drawing Wrokshop this year is a 9-weeks long workshop. Each class will have a particular focus and techniques for rendering. The fees is $60 – $225 for members and $70-235 for non-members. Drop-ins are also available based on availability at $25. For some workshops, an additional $75 has to be paid for the model.

There are several clases available at this studio for 4-11 week sessions. The price range is $220-$535. The classes are not focussed on Figure Drawing however the details of what the curriculum is can be discussed with the Studio.

The School offers 9 different art classes in just one summer. They are divided on the basis of the skill level. The advanced students are taught Figure Drawings as a part of a larger curriculum. The fees is $126 for 1 hour classes and $180 for 2 hour classes. This includes the materials and there are various discounts available as well.

Every third Thursday of each month is the Figure Drawing class hosted by the school. It is a drop-in class with a fees of $15 to be paid at the door. Easels, drawing tables, stools and professional life models are provided. You are however requested to bring your own materials and drawing board if you need one.
