Well you have come to just the right place. We give to you, in no particular order, the best places for TOP FIGURE DRAWING CLASSES in BAY AREA.

This group provides various courses and workshops for Figure Drawing. The general fees for this workshop is around $650 – $1350 for 10 days. There is a workshop coming up in the month of August and another one lined up in July. You can stay tuned to their website for more details and early registration offers.

They teach figure drawing classes on Saturday at 11 am, where they teach the basics of figure drawing. This class is good for someone who want to learn the foundation and basics to start it. Age is 18yr and up. Rate for the class is $45 for 1 and half hour class. This is a 4 week session. This is the best place to learn in the bay if someone want private coaching from artist Shilpy Jain. Cost is $140 for 4 classes, 6 hour.

This school has a recurring class of Life Drawing every Monday evening. It is a 3-hour long class. The fees for the class is $20. There is easy sign up available for the workshop on their site.

One of the most extensively Life Drawing Opportunities and Events are brought to you by the Santa Clara Water Color Society. They happen on every weekday and the best part is that they happen on multiple locations that include San Jose, Mountain View and Santa Clara. This group offers tuition packages ranging from 3 months of beginner classes to 12 months of advanced training. The entire curriculum is not only focussed on Figure Drawing however covers this aspect of training as well. The fees is $449, $899 and $1999 for 3, 6 and 12 months respectively.

This workshop is hosted for enhancing skills in this figure drawing.It is generally led by artists and teachers. The morning session is for beginners; the afternoon session is for those more advanced. Registration for each session is $30 ($25 for members). Participants may enroll in both sessions ($60 or $50 for members). All materials are provided. Space is limited to 30 participants and restrictions on ages as it is for 18 years and older only.

A comparatively more comprehensive course to get a deeper understanding about the key elements of Fine Arts. There are courses available at three venues i.e San Jose, Mountain View and San Francisco. The course has a fees of $300 + $27 (demo) for a single person attending the class. You can get a special offer for a couple entry at $560. The course has 12 classes. Every Monday at the Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company, Figure Drawing Classes are hosted in this make-shift art studio. The time is 7:00-9:15PM. John provides instruction, critiques and guides students. The fees is $150 for 4 classes.

Life Drawing Sessions are offered on a weekly basis with a live model on Tuesday Evenings. The cost per session is $15. It is led by gallery owner, and established nationally renowned artist, Angelo Grova. They are three-hour groups sessions.

These sessions are 3 hour long. They happen weekly on every Tuesday. The fees for this course is $20/session, or $60 for 4 sessions. The material is not included. This is an instructed lesson who gives advice and assistance.

This 10-week session by the Triton Museum is taught by Cuong Nguyen. The classes take place on Thursday Evenings. There is also an option of drop in available. The fees for the entire course is $275 and $255 for members. For a single drop in session the fees is $30 per session.

This course develops the artist’s ability to represent the human figure in pictorial space. The first class is free and the fees is $15 for 2 classes and $25 for 4 classes. One can also pay on a monthly basis.
